Does anyone know where I can find examples of clauses in leases about having pets in flats and not having pets?

I think the flat we own in Brighton has a “pet” clause in it. Something to do with need the permission of the residents committee to have a pet.
I’ll have a quick squizz at it if you like?

Thanks folks, some really useful links there.

Timbur – that would be greatly appreciated. I’m looking for as many examples as possible.

My next door neighbour is struggling with our chairman to sell his flat as the new prospective owners want to have a dog. I doubt he will win as he will need the explicit support from the board.

I believe our lease has a clause stating management company (shared freehold) has final say, which in our case would inevitably mean no.

Our block of appartments bans all animals except caged birds, as the garden would be used as dogs toilet by lazy residents/animal owners, and dogs barking in a block would annoy other neighbours.

If people want animals buy a house with its own dog toilet, If in doubt ban animals.
