I have recently moved into a flat and need ideas of how to store my bike. Wondered if anyone has a similar situation and any ingenious ideas or pictures of what you have done.

Keep my two bikes in the boxroom.

Use the bathroom off the hall for bike storage, and the en-suite for washing.

The lino is nice and easy to clean when I get back from a muddy ride too.

We moved into a flat with an extra room. For the bikes and CD’s.

I have one of these. Silver ones currently rather good value but cheaper things of similar general idea exist.

Cheers for the ideas..like the floor to ceiling stand as I’m not sure the walls will hold a bike.

In the interests of interior design I bought a new DH bike and am getting the Five and my Pitch powdercoated white 😉

    [edit] found another one 🙂

I keep mine in a bike bag in the spare room, means I don’t have to clean it the second I walk in the door if I don’t fancy, and the Mrs doesn’t have kittens about muddy bikes in the flat. We’re carpeted throughout (laminate in the bathroom), so bringing it in ‘as is’ really isn’t practical.

…Mrs doesn’t have kittens about muddy bikes in the flat

I don’t have that problem, havn’t seen mud in about a year 😀

Think I’d get bored of that eventually, and the multiple sets of mud tyres I have would go unused 🙂
