I’ve mended a small slash using a bit of old tyre stuck to the inside; no problems with it since.

As above, superglue cut and then stick old tyre sidewall to inside of tyre over cut, did this on a 1″ cut and tyre was used untill no tread left

I’ve used a few layers of gaffer in the past, more than a few times. Worked fine.

Don’t think super glue’ll do the job not flexible, use the stuff useed for tubes patches.

Superglue dries fast. I’d also consider sewing the patch on with fishing line, if it’s big enough.

Superglue for the cut, puncture repair glew for the patch

Not a permanent fix, but for get you home emergencies I always carry a 6″ square of damp proof course to wrap round the tube under the hole.
