Just taken my 2010 float 36s apart to service and am a little concerened about the damper. I was expecting to be able to compress it all the way in with resistance more or less dependant on damper settings. This is the case for the first part of the stroke but after that it ramps up and springs back. I can't compress it all the way in. This doesn't seem right- I was expecting all the springyness to be in the other leg. This isn't the first fox damper that's felt like this. Do I need to service the damper? I'd rather not as it's a bit of a faff.
