Lovely to be out under lights again, saw a few folk out and a good ride to start the season.

However, who the f… decided to ruin the lower part of the Lady Cannning track by covering it in that god awful crushed brick / sand mix??? Is nothing sacred??!!

This obssession of the councils / Forestry Commissions etc of doing this all over the Peak is making me want to go and rip up some footpaths!!

There's a thread about some of the works already. I saw this bit on Wednesday afternoon when we went up. I always turn left just were the new surface starts so it's a lot better than most of the work they've done IMHO.
