Anyone know of any relevant reason that fireworks are being set off tonight…..festival, religious? Or are there some real dumb arses that haven’t looked at the date and its 6 days past bonfire night?

Diwali’s tonight.

Our local display is this coming Saturday, so the 14th. Bit since it’s brilliant, in the amphitheatre of an old quarry, and every year scheduled so as not to clash with the rugby club one in town, nobody minds that it’s not on the exact day.

Its Divali tonight a Hindu festival. Expect fireworks tonight through to the weekend.

Ah ha, knew it was local miscreants, Happy Diwali to anyone celebrating then….Ill expect some more bombardments 😆
