You mean the Tories banned all further elections

So was your statement that Londoners repeatedly voted for a Labour GLC led by Ken Livingstone in the 1980s.

    True or not?

Yeah I forgot that the Tories banned the 1985 elections and extended the term until 1986. Which of course doesn’t change one iota my point that while the rest of the country swung decisively behind the Tories/Thatcher London didn’t. In fact it did the opposite.

Don’t blame Londoners for the insanity of Tory housing policies. Look at the rest of the country first if you want to apportion blame.

Yep you’re right. The one remaining LibDem seat in London should have been the clue! The correct 2015 London map makes my point even clearer 🙂
