You are spectacularly wrong.

Most injuries occur at organised displays.

The toilet brush causes more injuries each year than fireworks.
Dogs, of course, cause far more injury than fireworks.

I believe the done thing would be for tomkerton to provide evidence for his initial assertion, before I rebuked it with my superior knowledge gained over years of working professionally with H&S and fireworks.

However, as it appears that you are happy to lap up tomkerton’s cow-poop with zero evidence, and I am in an especially good mood, I can tell you that all the information I used; accident rates of organised vs amateur displays, and injuries caused by fireworks vs toilet brushes and dogs, can be freely garnered by those lovely people at RoSPA.
