I went into my LBS to see if the stocked the exposure joystick and they produced one of these

seems to be a similar output and size for a 3rd of the price!, anyone had any experiences with Fenix lights?

so why is the exposure joystick so popular at £150? what does it have to offer that these cheaper LED torches dont?

You need to check out the sites TJ has mentioned and have a look whats out there now for the £55 quid mark, it should be getting you 900 lumens and 3 hours of runtime.

Stuff like the exposure / fenix is much better made than the cheapo far eastern stuff – but a lot more expensive. The cheapo stuff tends to be a bit variable in out put / led quality. However when you can get a p7 ( 900lumen) led torch for £35 a Q5 at 220 lumen does not look such a good buy even if the difference in light output will more than likely be less than the raw figures suggest
