    I just bought at XT FD-M785 from derailleur, new on ebay
    What the seller didn’t tell me and I forgot to ask was that it is the Direct Mount type and won’t attach to my frame.
    Does anyone know where I can get hold of an adapter to clamp it to the seat tube?

    I have already Googled this without much success.

    DMD front mechs are specific, and don’t have adapters for band-type mounting (regular seat tube)

    You have to select which size from the drop down box, not cheap either…
