Star Wars is probably one of the most iconic film scores. Morricone's spag western stuff is great, and the theme to Requiem For A Dream is good.

Koyaanisqatsi is a fantastic piece, made for the film by Phillip Glass. The sound and vision compliment each other perfectly.

I still can't get over how Clint from PWEI is a top movie soundtrack composer now.

Haven't checked out his new stuff, is it as good as "This is the day…"?

My favourite Ennio Morricone piece is the theme from My Name is Nobody.

Quincy Jones for The Italian Job, Angelo Badalamenti for Twin Peaks and The Straight Story.

Quite like Shawshank Redemption, by Thomas Newman. Also Platoon (think late 60's classics and Adagio for Strings)and Pi (odd electronica)
