Looking for a wee favour- could one of you lovely folks measure the height of a 2.35 Big Apple on a 26 inch wheel- vertical from ground to the centre of the axle/wheel? I don’t have any to hand just now to try.

(basically wondering how different the rolling radius is comparing a 26 inch 2.35, with a 700c 25…)

Not big apple but a fat frank,it measures as near as dammit 27 inches overall diameter.
I should add, this is with a tailors tape rather than a metal tape,if you want it more accurate I’ll do it tomorrow cos I ain’t going down the shed now,its bucketing down out 😆

    Yep, I make it 683mm diameter, 2.35 big apple on a mavic xc717. A sliver under 27″.

    Brilliant, cheers folks!

(backstory- I have some spare disc mtb wheels, and a Roadrat with Vs and a bruised rim, and I don’t much like skinny tyres or V brakes)
