I keep thinking about selling my El Mariachi but I fancy trying it singlespeed with a fat front (keeping it simple).

On-one seem to have brilliant fat front wheel deals ATM, however which fork would be best for my El Mar and not screw up the geometry? Is the Salsa enabler my only choice??

Cheers for the offer Trouty, I’d have to get busy painting one of those and I’m too lazy and inept for that 😆

Compare fork lengths, it’s not difficult!

FWIW I found half fat to be pretty crap – about 10% of the way to a full fatty. Others have loved it.

The salsa enabler fork works well with an el Mar, don’t forget you’ll need a 135mm spacing for an o-o hub

Before I fully commit, I am going to have a go on a mates 1/2 fat karate monkey.

RD it looks like the enabler may be the tick in the box then 😀
