    My plan – bought a second hand pugsley rolling chassis, built up sensibly, if it’s not for me, then I won’t lose much. I really liked the look of the canyon, but you’d lose a shitload selling that.

    Fatbikes aren’t any better on ice – unless you want to fit spiked fat tyres. A pair of them cost about as much as an On One rolling chassis.. You’d be better with narrow spiked tyres on whatever bike you already have.
