An item today saying that the FC makes, from leisure, 50% of what it does from timber which I found hard to believe. Relating to the sell off they interviewed someone who currently has private woodland used for adventure purposes with some infrastructure in place.

“How much does it cost to get in here?”

“For an adult, £40 per day.”

Hard lines on the English, until they repeal the Scottish access laws then we’ll get it too.

Biggest problem with the FC sell off from my selfish view is the probable change in access for many woodland areas.

no chance of a repeal on the scottish access laws – and if they did we would still have the right to roam which has existed far longer than the LRA
