Why close the thread on Sheridan Smith?

You have to remember that though we are all brought here by a common goal, it is the diversity (and the fact we don’t want to talk about bikes 24/7) that keep forums (and traffic through the site) thriving, in fact I bet the chat forum has double the posts of the bike forum?

If women don’t want to read a thread they don’t have too, equally I don’t if women are discussing clothing/bikes/male strippers/Joe Swash etc.. It’s all a matter of informed choice and not “closing/deleting” a thread because it might offend “someone”.

Great mag but don’t ruin it by acting like a mormon on the forums.

FYI it’s against the rules to discuss moderation on the forum…

Even I’m getting tired of the “would you” threads. We all like an ogle but it was starting to smell like a teenage boys bedroom in here!

Don’t read it then, if you want to talk about bikes, there’s a bike forum. It should be obvious by the thread heading what the thread is about?

Hows about learning to curb your urges so the ladies feel a little more like people rather than objects? Personally i dont mind it, but I also like the women having some input in the site too. Either way it’s not up to you, its not your forum. Put up or shut up!

Take a look at the top of the forum summary page, more bike threads than chat 😆 go find some p0rn sites.

Make your mind up 🙄 Nowhere are “men” being derogatory to women, if you want to chat with women about biking start a thread asking them?

You want to talk about or look at pictures of pornstars, there are plenty of forums on other sites you can go to. I assume that’s who she is, but wouldn’t know – didn’t see the thread title, but it might not be quite as obvious as you seem to think!

Never mind – I can see this thread disappearing too, along with a banning.

I never said I disliked the thread – just that the general influx of dry-humping and thigh rubbing is getting a bit boring. I agree its not derogatory to point out that someone is attractive, but it doesnt make it a very female friendly place in here. Your viewpoint is a little immature, im sure you’re not but you certainly come across that way. And kicking your toys out of the pram doesnt aid your argument.

The fact is “would you wouldn’t you” is immaterial as a) She’s probably either married or b) has a selection of wealthy attractive men she could take full advantage of, so you wouldn’t be in with a chance anyway

You wouldnt want to hang about in a forum that was predominantly gay men talking about the details of which men they’d like “to do”. Thats perfectly understandable (assuming you’re not gay). Same applies here. A little isnt an issue is it, everyone can mention things like that from time to time. It just gets out of hand and some people dont know when to stop, that spoils an otherwise fun forum. Its not a matter of PC, its a matter of thinking about other people.

If you cant see it, fine – carry on but dont whinge like a baby when it gets pulled.

The simple fact is it’s already laid out in the rules about posts of a sexual nature or designed to provoke a sexual response. Take somewhere else. Read the bit about questioning moderator decisions on the forum too. After that make a choice as to whether you want to participate on this forum or not.
