Clatteringshaw loop
Park at/near lake/visitor centre/cake/buns
A712 E, 1st L(yellow), follow NWish Southern Upland till bridge over Dee, turn S, the head E on cycle route back home.
We lapped Loch Trool and really enjoyed it but S side has some steep bits and some bits had bounce to a halt large gravel on the path (but this was better scenery than Clatteringshaws tho)
Raiders Forest drive (*I **think** it was this one would be good for a trailer
for a ‘weird visit’ – http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/dunure/electricbrae/index.html
pub and cafe in Dunure, Culzean castle is ok (can beach walk from Maidens(cafe) or park on site)
Nick of the Balloch road is worth a car drive
For a remote cup of tea (*don’t know what the opening hours/season is)- Loch Doon Singletrack dead end yellow road (and if forest drive is open can link to Nick of B)
