This week I was about to top up my sock collection with some of the Embers ones mentioned in Issue 90. After reading this I decided , although much more expensive, the Falke ones might be better. So a Google produced the Falke online shop and I ordered 2 pairs. However when it came to pay ,VAT and postage took the bill from £26 to £32. Yes I know outdoor socks can be expensive but sneaking tax as well as postage on is a shock. Ah well back to my local outdoor shop.
