    Hope that no decent driver (PdiR especially) doesn’t head to Ferrari, they are well known for favouring one driver and I think Alonso will be wanting this approach too. Feel sorry for Massa but think he’s in a very good seat for someone who isn’t ever going to set the world alight.

    Of course, it was Lewis Hamilton’s experience in F1 with his two WC’s that helped develop the 2007 (and subsequently 2008) McLarens, of course. Nothing to do with Fernando Alonso, oh no, nothing at all…

    Ellfin – so what cars had Alonso developed since which have become world beaters? in my opinion, one of the most over-rated drivers on the grid. Jamie Algu in a Ferrari next year would be good (or will alonso allow it considering he stopped Heikki going to Renault)
