Short of going to the GP as we’re changing ours due to his inability to cure virtually anything, what can be done to cure or aid the process?

Use an anti-dandruff shampoo when you shower, allow the wash-off to run over your face. Try different brands of shampoo and switch them regularly. You’ll only manage to control it, a change of job and hours finally stopped mine (flour milling gives lots of extra fungus to contend with).
There may be some effect with diet control as well.

Do you have it elsewhere – nails, scalp, twig and berries?

Took me a long time to work out I had psoriasis.

Two things – it isn’t me but the missus, secondly – eczema on her wrists and a bit on her face. The doctor told her to use E45 creams.
