    Hi

i have some 1 1/4 inch threaded Accu-trax forks that are too long for my Yeti Fro so i just need to extend the thread down the steerer by 30mm, but nobody seems to have the correct tool and its cheaper to rebuild the fork than buy the tool gulp. Any bike shops out there in the UK got one?

    Cheers

Have you talked to any local machine shops – if it’s a standard pitch and tpi then it should be possible for them to cut it for you?

Couldn’t you just run them with an ahead-set and stem?

Its a 1990 period correct FRO aheadset is madness, if i wanted it all to work properly i would use my SB66 🙂
