I bought an Exposure Strada 1200 in October and the light itself is great, but I’ve got a bit of an issue with the remote. It was fine up until last week but it’s gone a bit dodgy. I either need to give it a really firm press to change modes or I press it and nothing happens. The problem with the firm press route is that this can sometimes switch it to flash mode – which isn’t ideal.

Anyone else had issues with the remote switch? I take it these are supposed to be waterproof?

Wires frayed at the switch on mine fairly quickly. I never bothered to replace it because the button is easy to press. Strada mk 2.

I emailed exposure and had a response within 10 minutes to say they will send me a replacement. Very quick response and great customer service.

I use my remote when I’m on the hoods and have it within right thumb reach, it’s very handy and I do miss it.
