Got a new torro, charged it up but can’t get it to switch on, not sure if there is a knack to it or if it is a dud. How does anyone else find the capacitative switch? Already would prefer a normal old fashioned switch.

try pressing it quickly twice in succession, or one longer press

You know it’s a double press, don’t you?

I have a couple of older Exposure lights but I borrowed a new one at a race a few months ago and really liked the new switch! Apparently it’s much more durable too (no contact to wear out).

Tried two quick presses, many times varying the timing, and a longer hold down. I think it’s borked, would be clearer if I was pressing an old style button.

Never had issue with my ones. Perhaps a quick check by someone else, if not, back to shop with it.

OH had a problem with hers when new, I think Exposure said it was a firmware problem or somesuch. Anyway, went away, came back fixed.

exposure are pretty good on returns, it does sound like its borked though, try and mark it non permanently and see if you get the same one back
