I had a couple of nasty cramps in my thighs on Sunday at the end of a long ride. I’m all salted up now and rehydrated but they still ache a bit.

Was going to go to the gym later and have a mild CV workout after a good stretch am I likely to cause any damage, should I just rest my weary legs or is a quick hour of weights and a bit of cross training going to be OK?

Doubt anything really bad will happen.

Cramp is temporary, your muscles are tired, take it easy so you’re not knackered for the weekend.

no problem at at all exercising now. cramp is also linked to dehydration so make sure you up the fluid intake, take on a little extra salt and warm up thoroughly and you’ll be fine. try some dynamic stretching aswell during your warm up, this will work well.
