    every time i open a new page the page layout is set to A4, how do i get the page layout to just be one big grid?

    I'd be interested in an answer to this too. I've not found a way yet.

    Open Excel and then the Preferences panel.

    In Preferences select View.

    In the options in the box titled Show select normal from the drop down box.

    Your Excel sheets will now open as one big sheet.
