  • Excel 2013 – Conditioning formatting?

I was quite happy with the conditional formatting in Excel 2007.

I now have to use 2013.

I am trying to format cells so that they change colour depending on the value in the cell.

I can’t make any sense of it!

All I want is the cell to be either red/amber/green for a given range of numbers. However, I get different shades of each colour depending on the value.

    How do I stop that?

Can anyone recommend any decent online info as all I can find is shite!
