I was thinking of letting them build me a wheel.. any experiences?

Other than being pretty underwhelmed by their staffs knowledge or interest in bikes and/or customers… TBF that was when they’d not been open long- they may have improved.

Does it have to be in town? or would you consider AW cycles over in caversham?

Couple of friends have had bad experiences with them, and they charged me £189 for a chain, didn’t look at the receipt until I was on the train home, myself and shop assistant not paying attention then. I’ve had wheels built at Cyclezone in Crowthorne, they’ve been fine.
