Anyone used the bicycle service with the Eurotunnel where they collect you from the Holiday Inn in Folkestone?

I’ve booked it for next weekend to do a mini tour up to Bruges and back. Any tips? How do they carry the bikes?
Parking at £7.50 a day at the Holiday Inn seems expensive too, anywhere else locally I can park for free? I was thinking of just parking up in a residential street tbh.

7.50 a day seems expensive? I assume it’s secure in some way as most are around the channel crossings. Personally the 15 quid for a weekend to avoid faffing having to ride to the hotel and back to my car would be worth it. On the other hand, just look on Google maps and find the nearest residential bit and hope for the best.

Cheers Atlaz, that’s what I was thinking.

£36 return at this time of year (or £18 for a day return if you fancy a day trip)
