  • European maps – OS type, where from?

    I'm trying to find maps for an area in France, something similar to our OS maps maybe, what do I look for and where? I've just spent half hour googling and all I keep getting is tourist type region maps, digital maps and gps type mapping, but I want to get a physical map that I can buy and look at ….

    i had the same problem, it's the IGN bleu series you want – all stocked at Stanfords or from their website.

    The IGN website is good. And if you download the geoportail, you can get fantastic 3d mapping. Better than Google earth IMO.
