Hi

Can anyone recommend a company who run guided XC rides in Europe?

I haven’t decided on a destination yet but I’m looking to go and do either one or two epic XC routes or a multi day tour (3-5 days).

I had the Alps in mind, but see places like Spain, Andorra, Portugal all have good riding so really am open to ideas.

Not been on this myself but a few friends have, quite a while ago but I think they are still going: MBMB 3 countries tour

I did a day with BasqueMTB last month and the riding and guiding was fantastic (my best day out on the bike in ages). I’m sure they could put together a suitable route in the coastal basque region or pyrenees.

lots of german tour operators that lead guided tours… but what do you mean by XC exactly?

have a look at ULPbike (have guided for them for several years) or fahrtwind (no sniggering at the back).

however i wouldn’t really classify a transalp as XC. at least not the level 2 & 3 tours i was riding/guiding. the level 1 tours are more a tra-la-la poodle, imo.
