I’ve been hunting around for some silver XT calipers and stumbled across these folk – http://eu-bikeshop.com/ offering Shimano kit at silly prices (they also trade on EBay).

They appear to be based in the Czech Republic.

Has anyone any experience of them?

The one on ebay is from Croatia, so not the same seller.

You can try ordering some cheap items first to see if they’re legit, but I wouldn’t bother. If the Shimano stuff is cheaper than on the German websites, it’s probably a scam :P.

That’s what I wondered (hadn’t spotted that the EBay store was separate, thanks). There are a number of sellers with really cheap brake sets I’ve been looking at (Czech Republica, Tawain, Hong Kong etc.). It’d be nice to save some cash but counterfeit brakes don’t sound a good idea!

    Is Shimano kit regularly faked?
