My first experience of partying (as we called it then) was 1989, Outer Limits in Bletchley, with Eddie Richards as resident, never been to Gatecrasher but I suspect they were quite different nights!
10 years later we were putting on nights in Brixton (Kult) and Hackney (Triology) and even in Normandy (v.messy)
I've pretty much retired now 
Dub and Tom are still at it, as is Eddie (who must be 60!).
Sorry If I come across as a snob, I guess were were trying to keep the same simple, underground vibe that we discovered in the 80s, it's pretty much gone though now, it's not new and exciting anymore I suppose.

I've had a listen to the Silicone Soul and Nils Noa, both are ok, Nils is better though I reckon.
The Tom Middleton one from 2001 is great btw, really good to chill to, if you can't get hold of his 'Jedi's night out' CD then this is a good alternative (any mix that includes 'The Way' is bound to be a winner).

I posted this a while ago on another dance orientated thread. Check out the hardcore lives radio tuner. It has loads of radio station presets with an easy to use rip button should your ears decide they like what they hear. The stations I most often listen to for old skool are break pirates, pirate revival and remaniss (off line until the 2nd of August).
Anybody know how to chop these mixes into smaller pieces once downloaded to burn to CD?
I can burn as a data disc to use in my car player but would like some to use in my 'proper' CD.

i used to have about 3/400 minidiscs, back in the day, had a headunit in the car and everything. a lot of them were essential mixes, as well. i've got rid of them all now - if i'd known you were still flying the flag you could have had the lot!

At the below link you can also download some essential mix cue files which can be played with foobar to give you tracklist/times, you can also burn them to cd with foobar/nero or burrrn etc

I can't remember if it was an EM or not, but Sasha & Digweed's Delta heavy tour in Miami was and still is immense!
interesting, i am more of a fan of the stuff before and after that period - i got a bit bored of that stuff, a bit like digweed's los angeles global underground cd.

Missed that! Yeah, can't see me ever losing the MDs. Still the best way to keep/edit stuff off the radio. Is tonight's worth recording though?

that greenpeace and yoda one's quite good, but i find that style a bit boring after not too long. have seen yoda live quite a few times, but it gets a bit repetitive...
