What’s it like? If I ride up there this evening will I

a) have a nice pootle on my hybrid or
b) get mugged to murderation?

Just looking for somewhere in London to have a pootle for a bit of exercise.

Went there a few years back and was shown round by some locals. My overwhelming impression was that it’s very pedaly so you’ll definitely get some exercise!

Why would you expect to get mugged?

I used to work nearby and often went nightriding by myself, it’s a very safe place.

If you go alone, it’s best to stick to the fire roads or get somebody to show you around.

Yeah I’d be on the fire roads, given the bike I have.

Also looking at following the national cycle route whatever it is to Richmond Park.
