im skint and need a new jacket for riding and walking (cant afford 2 different ones) – so is the endura Endura MT500 Hooded Jacket any good as a hill walking jacket? i expect it’d be fine but just wondered if anyone had any experience.

Make sure it’s long enough at the front, would be my immediate thought.

Various other lightweight multipurpose jackets around from eg Montane and Marmot but most of them are less cycling specific & less durable fabric.

Fit is very cycling, like elliptic says, short at the front, longer at the back. Other than that, I can’t see any problems. Hood is big (to go over a helmet, which it does, despite some reviews I read) but plenty of toggles to adjust it.

I like mine for riding though, been ace over the last few very cold weeks. It is very warm, so definetly not an all year round jacket though.
