In an attempt to find sunshine we’ve escaped to Portugal, so this afternoon we rode to the end of the known world, pre Columbus. More specifically Cape St Vincent, most westerly point in Europe.

Started very sunny, but got caught by a storm coming off the Atlantic which we failed to outrun despite a determined 2-up TT attempt. Luckily it passed and we sort of dried out on the way back.

Anyone want to look after a pair of constantly fighting kids delightfully well behaved little cherubs for a week?

    No experience necessary.

Very nice. To find sun I stepped out my front door. 😀

I was thinking the other day of riding from there to the Nordkapp. I can’t decide which way to go through Scandinavia though.. Southern Sweden then cut west to Norway, but I have a lot of love for Finland so it would be a shame not to go through it. Flatter too.

We went to Madeira and it was ace, if a bit hilly 😆

EDIT. Double post, and it wasn’t really that funny the first time!
