I see Ellsworth are refusing to give-in to the ridiculous new trends of dropper-posts and stems shorter than those found on most road bikes.

Wedging plus-size tyres into a 29er frame buy using narrow rims is clearly the future and worth chasing.

What a mess. If you’re bikes are quite gaudy/aesthetically challenged why when doing builds for promo pics would pick a load of components with loud and clashing logos? And those decals are like something a primary school kid would consider ‘well wicked’.

It’s no worse than this;

I quite like the swoopy look of the top one, but the linkage does look a little frail. The lower one though, wow! That’s a pretty ugly bike. It just looks out of proportion.

Top one not too bad.

The Moment is ok till you get to the rear linkage. Totally destroys it.

OOft. Top one isn’t horrific but has the look of a parts bin special. The second one is rank.

Not a fan…the first bike was assembled with brand new suspension but with finishing kit that’s languished at the back of someone’s warehouse for a decade. That stem is all of 100mm long, then there’s the seatpost and saddle. Seriously, who makes a boutique bike these days that doesn’t feature a dropper post?

The logo is truly gopping, but that’s an area where Ellsworth has never held back from the boundaries of taste in the past.

The second one is a see-saw with a hard-on.
