    1) Garmin GPS unit report: 1927m
    2) Garmin website from gpx: 1332m
    3) BikeHike website from the same gpx: 1749m
    4) BikeHike hand drawn map: 1530m
    5) Estimate in spreadsheet using the main climb differences: 1300m

    Maybe Garmin Connect is better at this than Bikehike? Any previous experience on this?

    Oh well. Just let this be a lesson that when someone quotes elevation gain it might be a random number.
