Why is it that ever since I have watched the news and read newspapers the political and economic outlook has been bad for the pound and country. There have been times where the pound was equivalent of 2 dollars and 1.7€ que much sucking of teeth and the negative implications. Now the pound is worth far less and again problems? The euro is struggling yet there is no reflection in the relationship to the pound?
    Anyone?

It suits the agenda of the tory press – and the TV meekly follows this.

the current aim is to establish in peoples minds how bad a state everything was after Labour – so the tories can blame them for the next few years

Many studies have been done to prove that if you study economics you will in all likelihood earn more than graduates of other disciplines.

    I studied economics. 😀

    RP: "It's absolutely fine"

Media: "Thanks, here's a tenner for your trouble – we'll call again in a month then"
