Anyone have experience or tips for dealing with the above?

Only after reading about Sky rider JT Locke did I link various aliments I’ve had over the past few years and ask the doc for a test, which came back +ve for EBV, meaning I’ve had glandular fever at some point in the past.

Essentially, many people get glandular fever and the Epstein Barr Virus never goes away – but in most cases it’s controlled by the immune system. In a small number of people it can keep flaring up and lead to various level of fatigue. For me, I can be race fit one month, then I get a cold and I’m knackered for months. Thankfully, it’s nothing close to CFS symptoms.

I’ve been referred to an immunologist and have heard antivirals can be effective in getting on top of the virus/fatigue, but am interested to hear if anyone else is going through this.

    Cheers
