So Mrs Shep bought an electrical item a while a go, used it once then stuffed it in the wardrobe with the rest of her crap that never sees daylight.

She decides to have a clearout. Various items go on the bay, included said item. (we checked it worked switching it on etc)

Item is sold for not much, (Mrs shep put it on as an BIN at the auction start price)

A few weeks pass and we get a claim against us through eBay. Buyer states item was working and has used it a few times then it broke. Jumped through all the hurdles eBay through at us how we are private sellers, item was used, matched description and we don’t accept refunds.

eBay sided with us, closed the case and didn’t refund the buyer.

Now she has opened a paypal dispute over the same is issue, now claiming the item is “not as described”

has anyone had similar? are paypal likely to overrule eBay?
