    I have just “won” a nice looking frame on eBay. No one else bid, the seller’s feedback is mixed (recent feedback is particularly poor) but has lots of sales and previously looked ok. I paid with PayPal – is there anything else I can do to protect myself?

    There’s a new app called Yoti you can use to check people are who they claim to be. Needs him to use it too though. So if he is a fraudster he’ll probably say no…I work for Yoti so if you’ve any questions about th security etc be happy to answer them!

    OK – it looks like this was a dodgy transaction:

    Personal email “I would have contacted you through EBay but my phone cracked and had to be reset. Strange request but could you tell me the username I sold it under?”

    How does this work then?

    Just contact paypal and explain.
