Ordered an item, sent wrong item as listing was incorrect.
Offered refund of item price only.
Can I also claim the delivery cost and my postage charges?
    Thanks

Yes, if it’s their mistake then they should pay postage costs.

if its the sellers fault then you get 100% back, including postage.

If they’re not offering 100%, go through the resolution center and eBay will give you the money back in good will.

EBay/PayPal policy is that the buyer pays return postage whatever the issue (they will refund the original delivery postage though). This is at odds with UK law so the the seller should refund postage but ebay won’t make them. Just been through it. Raised a complaint and just got a standard reply stating their policy.

In this case, I would raise a dispute saying the item ordered was not received.

    Get the refund through PayPal/eBay.

If they want the incorrect item back they can pay for it to be sent.

You are under no obligation to pay for the return of the unsolicited item that they sent you.
It’s irrelevant to the fact that they have failed to send the item you paid for.
