I recently won my 1st ebay auction.

It was a touring bike and in really good condition.
It was advertised as a 19″ frame, but it looked a bit small, I measured and it turns out it’s only a 17″ frame.

What should I do? What are my options?

Item not as described. If its no use, get a refund/partial refund if its easy enough to sell on.

Does it ride ok? If so I wouldn’t bother about numbers.

Otherwise you can put in a complaint/dispute on ebay saying the item sold isn’t as advertised.

Get in touch (politely in first instance) with the seller and see what they have to say.

My other bikes are vary in size, so i’m not bothered by numbers, but unfortunately it is too small. Fine for a trip to the shops, but not for LEJOG which is why I bought it.

I just sent the seller a polite email advising I am please with the condition but that it is not 19″ as advertised. I await his reply.

I measured it wrong. Seller is not to fault.
    🙂
