  • Easyjet and car hire woes, anyone had similar?

    They emailed last week to inform us that our flight to Rome in June is now going to the other Rome airport. Timings and everything stayed the same so no problem we thought.
    EXCEPT, they still had us down to pick our hire car(booked through their website with Europcar) up from the original aiport, which ain’t much use!
    Tried to get it changed, simple one would think, but no. We’ve had to cancel the original car and easyjet refunded us. Then they said to rebook through them. Turns out that will be £106 more than the original booking (same car, dates etc, just different aiport)!!!!!!!
    AND they have charged us £14 for Call Centre fees…WTF!?! I paid 10p a minute so what the **** have they charged that for?

    Can’t ring them til 8am tomorrow.
    Just wondering if anything similar had happened to anyone and whether you ‘won’?
