Servicing a friends bike and rear wheel has play and is sounding very rough! he purchased the bike in September rode it for a month or so the its been in his shed for the winter. Tookit out yesterday and the rear wheel was stiff and noticed play. On inspection the freehub body was very gunked up and the cassette body bearing were rough as.I have cleaned up and got the bearing numbers required for the hub but struggling to find the info for the cassette body.
Are Easton hubs generally poor for bearing wear and crap seals?

They did get a reputation, which I think is one of the reasons that CRC were knocking them out at 1/2 price a while back – to clear the old stock.
