    Hi All,

I’ve just tried fitting at a Hope E4 with an old Hope 203 mount. But the caliper is slightly catching on the mount, and yes it’s the right way round.

I’ve found if I put a washer on each bolt it fits fine.

Are the new mounts from hope a different shape?

I think the mount may not be a hope mount! That’s probably my problem… bugger.

Could be. With the E4 calipers for a 180 front I had to get the proper hope adaptor as both the Avid and Shimano ones I had fouled the body to varying degrees

Same as above, tried mounts I had but didn’t work so had to get hope ones.

Yes hope mounts are shaped to fit the caliper

Yeah as above, you need tbe hope adapter otherwise the caliper fouls the adapter

I wouldn’t go that far. I did run mine with an XTR adaptor that was close to fitting so I’d just filed out a mm or two to make it fit whilst I waited for the hope adaptor to arrive. Paranoia wouldn’t let me leave it like that
