I built my bike a few months ago and now just figured out why my shifting has been a bit crap!
I got a new Zee shifter and a second hand Deore mech, little did I know that the mech was Dyna-sys, and that was the reason for the crap shifting.

I had a look on ebay for some standard mechs, but only some say if they’re Dyna-sys or not, but when I Google, some say they are, some not!

How do I know for sure if Im looking at another mech if its Dyna-sys or not as not everyone mentions it?
Are all new models Dyna-sys?

Pretty sure everything shimano 10s and above for mountain is ‘dyna sys’-it’s just the cable pull ratio

All Zee is 10 speed, and should be compatible with all Shimano 10 speed mtb mechs.
