Lot of people standing around in that, are you sure it was a race?

It might be a race to some but for our group it was a great weekend away with some partying and some riding.

Don't it make you wonder how come they got so far ahead in the first place?

They got ahead as we were on a social ride with a few stops for booze/food/chats/pisstaking. That and having to wait for the 'tollah.
    Whyte1.

If you don't like folks passing you either ride faster or don't enter events with hundreds of other people.

i never got passed once on the way down i did pass a few myself though but in a slightly more thoughtfull manner , plenty passed me on the way up as it happens .
Can you not see the damage you could of caused somebody it's called the Dyfi Enduro not the singlespeedstu show .

Events with hundreds of other people are not the place to show off your skills

Whyte1 = Jealous of the better rider on the 1 geared bike!

There is always carnage at the Dyfi - MTFU of go home.

Maybe the wide lense angle on the camera makes the gaps look smaller than they are.

I only had one comment about an overtake all day and he was just dazzled by my mince to the power of radiator skillz.

Besides that i know most of the trails quite well from doing british championship endros in there quite a few times (so know where the other* lines are).

*not blindley following the person in front.

Good vids. I was worried I was going to be on one as one of the mincers, as I saw you several times round the course. (Bl00dy nice bike you've got there BTW) But I can honestly say I rode every single bit, so no mincing here.

couldn't see anything wrong with your passing, as most of it was on the dirty line. surely if you've entered that kind of race then you (me) gotta expect to get passed at some point?

Oh BTW I apologise to the guy and marshal I slammed into at the bottom of the World Cup descent. I got carried away but didn't see people standing at the bottom until the last minute. I managed to drop most of my speed but it was a bit of a close call I did apologise at the time (twice I think) Lovely descent

Indeed it was. I hate riding in the same line as the person in front of me.
Leaves you with nowhere to go if they **** up/ mince a bit.

Great vids stu, wish I could get close to that kind of speed, great overtaking too, plenty of room and options for all concerned

You know, my first thought watching the vids was "why don't more people getter wagon wheels?" (or 650bs for the vertically challenged).
