    You’ll need a couple of extra pieces of software…

    VLC media player to understand the encryption on the disc and Handbrake to do the actual conversion of the video file.

    Really easy to use after the first couple of times.

    Depends on your setup. I use nothing but Handbrake (OS X Lion)

    geoffj – VLC (or certain other media players) are used transparently by Handbrake for their deCSS library which does not come as part of the Handbrake install any more. I don’t to anythign with it, it just needs to be there for it all to work.

    In my case, MacBook Pro with OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion)
