Meeting up with some friends in November. All keen riders who do trail centre reds so are competent riders.
Looking for some ideas for 2 days riding based in Dalbeattie, any locals with some good suggestions welcome your input. Thanks

Dalbeattie forest is the obvious 😉 Add on the coastal path, dropping out of the forest at Barnbarroch down to Kipford to Sandyhills or the reverse. Or drop out of the forest at Colvend and pick up the coastal path at Rockcliffe. Mabie + extras 😉 not to be discussed on a forum 😯

You are 1hr from Kirroughtree, about the same to Drumlanrig( check web site, car parking charges usually stop for winter)
Various hill rides on OS78 Nithsdale, depending on weather can be quite tough ❗

Nearly forgot Ae with the excellent new blue route which is worth doing either before or after the red 😆

What’s your travel plans re arriving in the area?

The hard part will be narrowing it down.
